This acrylic painting on stretched canvas has such a serene feel about it. Similar in style to the mini-collection entitled Waterlilies, it evokes a calm yet expansive energy.

Made by first laying down texture using modelling paste, there is a veil like quality created by layering transparent and opaque layers of acrylic paint. The painting is finished with the addition of gold paint to give it an element of luxury, then high quality gloss varnish.

The picture wraps around the sides of the canvas, so it looks finished without requiring framing.
