Despite this being a larger sized painting this piece holds a quiet quality, like a constant friend. It seems full of wisdom and takes the viewer on a very special journey. The eye is attracted initially to the accents of rose and golden hues that embellish the picture, then develops along the strong, darker textured areas. Next, there is a balance created by taking in the detail of the expansive lighter areas, in which there are echoes of the stonger colours present. 

This painting is presented on a deep-edged Winsor & Newton canvas, over which the painting spills to ignite the viewer's interest side on. It does not require framing in order to look complete.
